PAIN!
Pain,
Sinemet CR, and Tremors!
I feel that
there is a direct relationship between pain, SinemetCr, and
tremors. The higher the pain, (that is not related to P.D. ,
such as an injury, or headache) the more active the tremors
become. The tendency is to want to increase the drug to ease
the tremor. My past experience with Sinemet has showed me that
once increased, it is very difficult, if not impossible to cut
it back down.
I am not
saying that this is the way it works for everyone, just that
this is the way it has worked for me !-
Dyskinesia
Dyskinesia
is a name given to 'involuntary' muscle movements.
This condition
consists of sudden and uncontrollable spasmodic 'jerks' of muscle
groups of a persons body, and often comes as a result of continuous
use of Sinemet. I was told that the longer a person uses it,
the more pronounced the jerks can become; and this has proved
to be the case for me. So, I try to use only as much of it as
I have to!
I make no
attempt to hid the fact that I have P.D., one might even say
"I wear it like a badge ".
Why?
Because,
I get better and faster service, and I make people aware that
Parkinson's Disease exists!
