Breakfast
With Bill
Breakfast
is the most important meal of my day. As my breakfast goes,
so goes my stomach, so goes my day. Preparing my breakfast generally
takes about an hour. Every now and again there are shortcuts
I can take, if I have prepared for them the night before.
- The
first thing that I do, is to prepare my lemon, as explained
in the LEMON section.
- Next,
comes my "SMOOTHY" (see the formula in that section),
which I drink with a bent "hospital" straw, to avoid
ingesting too much air. This mixture is "loaded with
energy foods", and will last me until 1 p.m. As there
is always about 6 to 8 oz. left over after filling my 16 oz.
mug, I put it into small 8 oz. yogurt cups and freeze them.
Then, if I know I need to get away early some morning, I take
2 of them out of the freezer the night before I go to bed.
- Then,
comes my "joint" insurance. Apple
Cider Vinegar! D. C. Jarvis,
in his book "Folk Medicine"
started me on A.C. Vinegar 34 years ago when I had "bursitis"
in both shoulders. I am happy to say that it has never returned.
One tbsp. with or without honey in water or juice. The more
liquid you add, the less you taste the vinegar, and the easier
it is on your stomach. The potassium and other minerals in
the Apple Cider Vinegar keep calcium in suspension.
- I
may eat a homemade muffin or a slice of a fruit and nut loaf.
This will last me until 1 PM. My breakfast is loaded with
vegetable protein.
- My
lunch, is my heavy animal protein meal most of the time.
- My
supper is an easily digestible combination of perhaps a salad
with lots of nuts and seeds, as well as an egg, or some meat
or fish.
- Snacks
should be on energy foods and fruit, and as frequent as desired.
- The
last snack of the day, is FRUIT IN JELLO,
which gives my body the energy to heal itself while I rest.
