Lemons

Lemons are one of man's best friends. They contain bioflavonoids, vitamin C, and P, and are natural disinfectants. I find them very effective in keeping the urinary tract clear of all infections. It is also very useful to use lemon juice to control dandruff. I have found that it is recommended that a person consume all of the lemon, however, I am unwilling to eat the outer skin.

First morning, I roll the lemon on the tabletop to break down the internal structure and then I place the lemon in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes. Then I cut the lemon in half, extract the juice and remove most of the white pulp. Next, I put the white pulp along with the outer shell into a bowl of filtered water and let it stand overnight.
Next, I add a big glass of water and drink it first thing in the morning. It is advisable to drink more water as a rinse since lemon juice is hard on the enamel of the teeth.
The next morning, I remove the outer shells from the bowl, cut up the white pulp and drink the liquid. It is almost as strong as the previous morning's juice. In addition, it contains some lemon oil as well as some bioflavonoids subtracted from the rind. Actually, if I liked tart flavored food, I think that it would be very beneficial to my health. I tried to make a "no-cook" marmalade, however, I could not find a sugar substitute that I either liked, or could afford. Alternatively, if fresh lemons are not available, "Real Lemon" could be used. However, I prefer "natural" rather than "processed" lemons.

· Lemons also help me keep a good Acid/Alkaline ( pH ) balance in my body.
· A word of caution: don't stray too far away from a washroom for an hour or so.
· I was told to place the lemon in a microwave on high for 1 min. What a mess!
· Lemon juice is hard on the enamel of your teeth, rinsing is recommended.
· (From the book "Lemon Cures" by Werner Meidinger).

· For those of you that enjoy tart tasting food items, and would like the full value of this fruit, you might try the following.
* Wash the fruit in a weak solution of either apple cider vinegar, or H2O2 03%
Hydrogen Peroxide (two of the greatest disinfectants known), then rinse.
* Cut the entire lemon into small bits and place in your mixer, add 8 or 16 oz of
filtered water, and blend. ( One or two days supply)
· As a time saver, a person can process a bunch of lemons, put the juice in individual ice cube tray sections and use as needed.

* I put a pinch (as much as I can take) of cayenne pepper, and some Blackstrap molasses with the lemon drink. This helps circulation, constipation, and puts in some vitamins and minerals, as well.
