Automatic
Pilot?
Now
you have Parkinsons!
The only
thing in your life that is "automatic" any more, is
constant change! You have been running on automatic pilot all
your life, doing as you pleased, eating what you wanted, drinking
what you wanted, and letting the "chips" fall where
they may, with no great concern on your part.
THATS
OVER!
The only
time you gave any concern about your body, was when it protested.
Now you are are at the beck and call of your body and mind.
You have to adjust to their "demands". No longer will
you be able to eat and drink when and what you wanted, without
paying a price for doing so.
Parkinsons
Plays the Music,
You Dance to it!
Parkinsons
Disease Is often called a "designer" disease. In as
much as it is designed differently for everybody. PD affects
the body, somewhat like a small fire might do in the motor of
a car. Not all wires would be burned (short circuited) in the
same spot.
Not all
nerves in the body are short circuited in the same spot.
Wherever
there is a different malfunction in a nerve, there is going
to be a different symptom. This may not be the exact process,
but maybe it will might help to explain what happens.
THERE
ARE THINGS I SUGGEST YOU DO!
Keep
a daily diary of:
1. what
you ate each day, and when
2. what happened to you that day
3. the effect of your medication(s)
4. any strange symptoms that occurred
5. when your medication "wears off"
6. when is the best time to do things
Avoid stress like a plague
Never eat when under stress
Accept your situation, and learn all you can about it.
